During the most recent TIA Congressional Fly-In, L&L President, Brian Evans lobbied with many of his fellow logisticians for a National Hiring Standard for the 3PL industry. Every year, members of the 3PL industry storm Capitol Hill for one on one visits with Congressmen from all over the US working for a common purpose. The National Hiring Standard is a safety issue and one that will create a unified standard to enhance the choices of carriers transporting goods on the US highways and interstate systems. While on Capitol Hill, Evans enjoyed personal visits with Senator John Boozman (R), Senator Tom Cotton (R), Congressman Rick Crawford (R), and key staff members of Congressman Steve Womack (R).
